Ease8.2
A big, slick, genuinely useful app that's hugely underrated in the English-speaking world, 7.4/10 (safety 6.6, value 7.0, members 8.6, ease 8.2; weighted safety 30%, value 30%, members 20%, ease 20%). The crowd and the ease are real strengths, especially in Brazil, Spain, Italy and France; value is fair-but-mid because free works while visibility leans on paid boosts; and safety is the soft spot, with patchy verification and the fake-profile noise that comes with this much scale. - +Massive global crowd, one of the biggest apps in Brazil, Spain, Italy, France and Latin America
- +Slick, intuitive app: Encounters swiping, People Nearby and live video, easy to pick up in seconds
- +Genuinely usable free tier, swipe, match and chat without paying, great for testing your city
Instabang 6.7/10
Safety6.5
Value6.0
Crowd7.0
Ease7.5
Instabang lands at 6.7/10, a legit, functional hookup site that's let down by aggressive billing and thin verification. The US crowd is big enough to actually deliver, but go in clear-eyed: sign up free, confirm your city's busy, and if you pay, watch the auto-renew like a hawk. A solid mid-tier option, not a top pick.
- +Fast, low-pressure casual vibe, Tinder-style swiping plus live streams and a busy local feed
- +Free to sign up and browse, so you can gauge how active your city is before paying
- +Large US member base (around 1.2 million), plenty of real people online in bigger cities
